Hamish Wallace
Hamish has had many years’ experience with soil & turf. Bought up on a farm in the Hawkes Bay, Driven trucks, work for a time in the Racing industry on the turf until taking up a position in Maintenance Turf industry, before buying the business in 2007.
The business has grown since then, Hamish is always looking at new methods of turf management and has taken the business in a wider direction.

Sandra Wallace
Married to the boss for over 40 years and have worked in administration for 25 years. I am the face behind the emails, the invoices & quotes.
With the commencement of Sports Turf Mechanical and the Health & Safety procedures, my work became a full time role and I can be found most days in the office.

Tim Oatley
Tim has been with us since the beginning in 2007. He is very experienced on the machinery, not only operating but with the repairs and maintenance. He is very proficient in pulling apart and rebuilding any of our equipment, especially Verti-drains.
Tim has acquired Level 3 in Sports Turf Maintenance, has completed his Grow Safe Course, First Aid and Tractor & LUV Training
Mike Love
Mike has been with us since 2016 when he started a casual to cover the spring season, he hasn’t left.
Mike is a great operator, and he also takes care of the mowing contract we have with 20+ schools in Palmerston North. He is always busy and is also good at the maintenance of equipment. He also has had LUV Training and First Aid.
